At Care to Comfort, caring isn’t just part of what we do—it’s at the heart of who we are. Like many of the families we support, we’ve experienced the ups and downs of caring for someone we love. We know how overwhelming it can feel when mobility becomes limited, when sleep is interrupted by discomfort, or when the home starts to feel more like a hospital.
That’s why we created Care to Comfort—to help people sleep better, feel better, and live more independently at home.

Our Story
In 2011, two lifelong friends—Yvonne Cassidy and Martin Deasy—came together with a shared mission: to bring warmth, style, and thoughtful design to beds that support people with real health needs.
Having worked in customer-facing roles for years, they understood how important it is to feel looked after. And they knew from personal experience how clinical and uninspiring traditional hospital beds can be. So they set out to change that.
They built Care to Comfort around a simple idea: give people beds that not only work well, but look and feel good too—without the cold, medical look. Beds that help people live with dignity, and sleep in comfort.

Designed with You in Mind
One of our proudest achievements is the Split Bed—launched in 2019 after listening to families and carers who needed a better way to balance care and closeness. It looks just like a standard bed, but features clever hidden adjustments, dual controls, and a smart footboard clasp that allows it to separate when extra access is needed. When care is done, the bed returns to its original, unified look—so couples can continue sleeping side by side.
We’re also the exclusive Irish agents for RotoBed®, an innovative bed that helps users go from lying to standing in under a minute. With its gentle movement and supportive design, RotoBed gives back dignity, independence, and ease to those who need it most.
