The Deirdre Electric Adjustable Bed is a beautiful combination of modern design and handcrafted quality. Made from solid oak and finished with strong, clean lines and block-style legs, it’s a bed that adds elegance to any bedroom – while offering full functionality and comfort.

You can choose from two stylish headboard options – classic wooden or soft upholstered – and four timeless wood finishes: Natural Oak, Grey Oil Oak, Rustic Oil Oak, and White Oil Oak.

This bed includes our signature Dream-Cloud Luxury Orthopaedic Foam Mattress, handmade in Co. Wexford and specially designed for electric beds. The mattress provides excellent support and breathability, and is available in Soft to Medium or Firm feel.

With a smooth electric mechanism, the Deirdre bed allows you to raise your head and feet independently for better rest, recovery, or relaxation. And if care support is needed, you can choose to add a Vertical-Lift Mechanism on one or both sides (available on all widths except 140cm).

Made to suit your space, the bed can also be customised with split widths – for example, one side 90cm and the other 80cm – if your room is tight or you need different sleeping setups on each side.

As always, we offer free delivery, professional setup, and removal of your old bed – plus full aftercare and a 5-year guarantee.

Yes. The Deirdre bed is available with either a solid oak headboard or an upholstered option for a softer look.

What if I need help getting in and out of bed?

The Vertical-Lift Mechanism is ideal for this. It can be fitted on one or both sides and added later if needed.

Is this bed suitable for tight bedrooms?

Yes. We offer custom split-width options, such as 90cm + 80cm, to suit smaller spaces.

Is the mattress suitable for medical use?

Yes. It’s orthopaedic, breathable, and flexible for electric bed movements. It may also qualify for a VAT refund if used for medical purposes.
