It comes with a fully adjustable electric mechanism, allowing you to raise your head and feet independently with ease. If carer support is needed, you can also add a Vertical-Lift Mechanism on one or both sides (available in all sizes except 140cm). This feature makes everyday tasks like repositioning or getting in and out of bed simpler and safer.

Each Kilmichael bed includes a Dream-Cloud Luxury Orthopaedic Foam Mattress, made in Co. Wexford. Breathable, flexible, and designed especially for adjustable beds, this mattress offers exceptional support and pressure relief — available in Soft to Medium or Firm feel.

Choose from a wide range of over 20 beautiful finishes, from warm cherry and classic oak tones to soft greys and clean whites — all carefully hand-finished by skilled craftsmen.

Designed with real homes in mind, the bed is also available in custom split widths (e.g. 90cm + 80cm) for bedrooms with limited space. Dual beds come with separate mechanisms and remotes for independent control.

This feature raises the entire mattress vertically — ideal if a carer is assisting with mobility or transfers.

Can I mix sizes on each side of the bed?

Yes. If needed, we can build the bed with one side 90cm and the other 80cm, for example.
