Unlike traditional dual beds, this bed splits in the centre to allow full access from both sides of the mattress — ideal when care is needed. Once assistance is complete, the bed joins back together seamlessly, letting couples enjoy a shared sleeping space once again.

You can also choose to include a Vertical-Lift Mechanism on one or both sides. This makes it easier for carers to help with mobility or personal care, all while keeping the look and feel of a comfortable, home-style bed.

Included in the price is our Dream-Cloud Luxury Orthopaedic Mattress, handmade in Co. Wexford. This mattress is breathable, pressure-relieving, and flexible — specifically crafted for electric adjustable beds. Choose from Soft to Medium or Firm comfort levels.

Available in over 20 colour finishes and custom width combinations (e.g., 90cm + 80cm per side), the Kilmichael Split Bed can be made to suit both your needs and your space.
